At Kite's inception, our founder, Jo, used her extensive experience in the fashion industry to start a company that makes high-quality clothes that respects our planet.

Our commitment to GOTS certification goes beyond materials - it's about people too. Each year, independent audits ensure that every worker in our supply chain receives a fair wage, enjoys clean and safe working conditions, and works reasonable hours. We stand firm against discrimination, harassment, and violence, and none of our factories employ child or forced labour.
Jo, our founder, and Roger, our MD, visit our factory partners twice a year to strengthen our relationships. Some of these suppliers have been with us since the very beginning of Kite over fifteen years ago. These long-standing relationships are built on shared values and a mutual commitment to creating the best clothing possible.

Meaningful certification
We're proud to be certified by the Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS), the leading standard for organic textiles. This certification isn't easy to get - companies must meet strict environmental and social criteria. Every step of our supply chain, from cotton growers to embroiderers, has been thoroughly inspected to ensure it meets these high standards.
This means you can shop with confidence, knowing you're making a choice that’s better for the planet and its people. Our clothing is made from GOTS-certified organic cotton, recycled materials, sustainable wood pulp, or OEKO-TEX-approved fabrics. We also only use GOTS-approved dyes to prevent toxic chemicals from harming the environment.
