The good news for Kite customers based in the US is that in most cases you are unaffected and you can still purchase almost all of our products without paying customs duties 😊.

Most of our products originate from Turkey and India and the de minimis threshold continues to apply on orders containing these items. This means that customs duties are not payable on entry to the US for orders below $800 in value including delivery charges.

For the 5% of our products that are manufactured in China we no longer allow US based customers to purchase these items. You will be notified at checkout if you have added something to your basket that was made in China, and requested to remove it from your basket before proceeding. 

In conclusion, we recommend that you keep your order including shipping below $800 (approximately £600) in order to benefit from continued duty-free imports to the US, and please be reassured that we will prevent you purchasing any goods made in China.

Tracked delivery to the US using Royal Mail and USPS will continue to cost £12 and take between 6 and 10 working days.
